Indigenous-Art was conceived in 2002 to help Native American artists sell their work for fair prices to world-wide buyers at a fair selling price. We envisioned a site where buyers could get to know the artists through their biographies, tribal roots, stories and artwork. The site was launched on January 6, 2003 with 5 artists. We now have 15 artists represented on site. The site is continually being updated with new artists, modified and improved. Upcoming changes include an on-line chat between you and an artist, and a Newsletter.

About our logo: the hands, indicating humankind, are placed in a welcoming position from us to you. The hands are slightly cupped in a bowl shape, to indicate pottery making. The color of the hands is adobe, to symbolize being from the earth. The turquoise on the "i" and "a" represents good luck. The "i" spirals from the east and the "a" spirals from the west, symbolizing day and life cycles. The "i" and "a" are also snakes, for rain, fertility, good health & wisdom.

Indigenous-Art welcomes your suggestions for changes, improvements and additions. Please let us know what you think of our site by filling out a form, sending us an email, or mailing us a letter: Indigenous-Art, P.O.B. 82083, Albuquerque, NM 87198. Thanks!
